EcoPro Insulation Foam – The Low-E Alternative
EcoPro Insulation Foam and Low-E are very similar in terms of their thermal insulation and vapour control properties. However, EcoPro Insulation Foam is a more cost-effective option. EcoPro Insulation Foam – The Low-E alternative has two main benefits, it has high thermal insulation properties and also acts as a vapour control barrier (VCL). To create a vapour control barrier it must be taped and sealed around all joints and edges with the Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape included within the kit.

Included with the EcoPro Insulation Foam us a role of our ThermaSeal foil Joining Tape to tape and seal all the edges and joints and this also creates the Vapour Control Barrier.

Do I need to tape and seal around the edges?
By taping and sealing around the edges and joints with our Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape you will create a vapour control layer.
What is the best way to cut EcoPro Insulation Foam?
We would recommend cutting with either Multifoil Scissors or a Cutting Knife. Both are available in our Multifoil Fitting Kit.
How can I install this?
You can install with our Thermaseal Double Sided Tape or a non solvent adhesive if going on a wall (without an air gap) / floor. Or, if you've installed battens to create an air gap and add to the thermal performance we recommend stapling, with our heavy duty staple gun kit.
Can I plasterboard on top?
Absolutely, you can either plasterboard directly on top or you can install battens prior to installing plasterboard. This will further enhance the performance of the product.
