Here at Multifoil Insulation, we have created an easy-to-install, energy-efficient EcoPro Wall Insulation Kit that will help lower your energy bills. Did you know uninsulated walls allow 35% of heat energy of heat energy to escape? So for every £1.00 spent on energy £0.35 is wasted.
The insulation included in this kit is EcoQuilt Expert which is 15mm thick and compresses down to just 5mm during installation. It has been designed to combat heat loss by reflecting heat into your home and reflecting the cold away.
What is Included in the EcoPro Wall Insulation Kit?
- EcoQuilt Expert 1.5 x 10m – 1.5 x 10m (15m²). – EcoQuilt Expert is a High performing Multifoil Insulation, just 15mm Thick – Compressing to 6mm when installed. It is equivalent to 100 of Fibre / 50mm of Rigid Board Insulation. This Multifoil will therefore help you retain heat, in less Cost, Space and Time.
- Thermaseal Foil Joining Tape – 75mm x 50m (1 roll per 30m²) used to tape and seal all the edges and joins of the insulate to secure it into place create a Vapour Control Layer.
- Heavy Duty Staple Gun Kit– This comprises of a Heavy-Duty Staple Gun and 5,000 x 14mm Staples to Staple the EcoQuilt Expert into place.
- FastFix Multifoil Insulation Screws – 4mm x 50mm these have been designed to be used with all types of Multifoil Insulation. To prevent the wadding from binding and speed up your installation.
- Multifoil Insulation Scissors – Stainless Steel Scissors, suitable for Cutting Multifoils

Where can I install this?
Timber Frame walls, cavity walls, solid walls, and also the exterior of walls.
Do I need to leave an air gap?
Yes, the minimum air gap we recommend is 25mm on either side of the insulation however if a larger air gap is present this will only benefit the insulation. The air gap will help reflect any heat inside and any cool air outside.
Why do I need to overlap the insulation?
The insulation should be overlapped by 50mm because this will stop draughts from entering the space and warm air from escaping.
Do I need to tape and seal the insulation?
Yes, we recommend taping and sealing over all joints and overlaps on the roof and walls. This will help the products to act as a high-performing vapor control layer.
