The EcoTec Floor-Foam insulation Kit is the perfect solution for anyone that wants to improve heat retention and energy efficiency of their home whilst reducing draughts to make your home more economical in the fastest and easiest way. EcoTec does this by reflecting heat back into the room whilst simultaneously preventing cold air rising up through the floor. When sealed round edges and joins with Thermaseal true aluminium foil tape all draughts are completely eliminated. EcoTec also helps dampen any sounds and reduces condensation and is a great underlay for laminate flooring.

How easy is EcoTec Floor-Foam to install?

The great thing about EcoTec Floor-Foam Insulation is that it can be installed without lifting any floorboards, no special tools or skills are required making it DIY friendly. It can be stapled straight onto timber floorboards or glued directly onto concrete. Simply lay the Floor Foam down, staple or glue into place then seal all joints and the perimeter with Thermaseal 75mm true aluminium tape.

EcoTec Floor-Foam is a high density polyester foam sheet covered in true aluminium foil either side and is only 4mm thick, meaning no trimming of doors or skirting is required after installing.

 

 

Floor-Foam is supplied in easy to handle 1.2m x 25m rolls covering 30 Sq/m per kit. The kit is also supplied with a roll of Thermaseal jointing tape 75mm x 50m meaning there’s all the materials you will need to complete the job.
